Best Shoes for Men

adidasFootwear is arguably the most important part of what you wear. Tight, uncomfortable shoes can truly ruin your day, and most men nowadays take much better care of what they put on their feet.

When it comes to comfort, nothing beats a good pair of trainers – except maybe warm indoor slippers. The world of mens trainers, up until a few years ago, was ruled primarily by sports-related wear. White was the predominant color, and the dividers in sports or shoe shops were set primarily according to sports. You’d have the football section, the running section, the tennis section, the climbing section, etc. Recently, this trend has taken a turn for the fashionable. And spearheading this new wave of trendy trainers is no other than renown sportswear manufacturer Adidas.

Adidas trainers have set the standard for casual wear, combining style and comfort in an irresistible blend. And nobody really knows where or when it started. Truth is, different colored trainers with a contrasting three-striped logo printed on the side were the hallmark of fashion a couple of years back. From Hollywood stars to out-of-office businessmen, everyone owns at least one pair of these trainers. And they never really did go out of fashion – they simply evolved.

I remember the first pair of these trendy trainers I tried on: it was brown suede with the stripes in a discrete blue. I loved them and for a while it was like I never took them off. I was fortunate enough to have a friend working at a sports shop, and we’d get first pick out of the item that were to be put on sale. We also got to see the next year’s collection before anyone else. I was surprised to see, the following year, just how widespread the style had become. Not only did the trainers come in all shapes in sizes, including baby-size, they also started making them in all materials and styles. There were edgy Adidas trainers with bright neon colors and there were formal trainers where you could barely see the three-stripes – but they were there anyway. And nothing proved the success more intensely than the thousands upon thousands of knock-off shoes that flooded the market trying to capitalize on the trends’ huge success. The three stripes were turned into four, were placed sideways, anything they could find – as long as they could look enough like the successful trend. But nothing beats the originals – and mine are still in use.

Sexy Summer Shoes

sandalsSummer footwear might make you think of beach flip flops, which can seem boring. But that isn’t the only option for cool, fashionable footwear in the warmer months. The recent trends have opened up a whole new world for ladies sandals. Suddenly you can have evening heels in the style of sandals: very open with lots of straps, with fun embellishments like jewels, to keep your style going all year around. Here are some fashionable ideas for summer footwear, and how to rock the look!

- Casual, comfy, stylish: If you are looking for a good beach sandal, or a shoe for a location that just doesn’t allow heels, check out these great roman sandal styles that are going around. These fantastic buckled sandals in blue are the perfect choice for a stroll down the board walk! Visit www.modainpelle.com for more sexy sandals.

- Sexy, evening, cool: If you’re looking for a night out, without going for a closed, binding boot, you should consider a pair of sandals with a heel. The recent trends of jeweled, open heels are the perfect option for warm evenings with a relaxed and flirty feel. You can find some leather pumps with straps and studs for a more powerful look, or a light and open jeweled heel for a fun look. Both styles look great dressed down with jeans, or a light sun dress.

- Retro, relaxed: If you’re more for a vintage vibe, you should try the wedge heal. This was all the rage in the 1950s, and it’s coming back with a vengeance. Wedges come in all kinds of styles, but if you want to stick true to the retro style, you will go with a flirty slingback with peep toe. This is an iconic look for pinup girls, and works wonderfully with a sun dress. Lately they fashion is all about suede, and wedges are no exception. Try the suede sling back with peep toe in a bold color, like blue or yellow, to really get into the summer mood.

Summer doesn’t have to mean slumming it up in the most comfortable, old pair of flip flops you can find. You can keep your style and keep your feet cool at the same time. Take advantage of the recent trends and pick up some jeweled sandals, roman sandals, or sexy, strappy heel.

men2When it comes to men’s fashion, most guys do not have any idea that clothing really makes the man and what you wear is important not only to yourself but to others. First impression really matters and men’s fashion must be taken seriously. If you want to be noticed, you need to know these basics of fashion.

The first thing you need to remember in men’s fashion is the fact that expensive wardrobe will not do the trick if you do not have proper posture. Make sure to stand up straight and carry yourself with confidence.

Wearing clothes that fit your body type can make a big difference. Shop for clothes that you feel comfortable in. If you lost a few pounds, your wardrobe may need to be altered and visit a tailor.

Find items that work for you. Stand in front of the mirror and know what styles and colors look good on you. Do not be afraid to try new things though classics are still the best choice if you want to be on the safe side.

Do not wear wrinkled or soiled clothes. As much as possible choose fabrics that are wrinkle-resistant or make an effort to use the iron. Formal wear and suits must be taken to the dry cleaner.

Make sure to avoid wearing horizontal stripes unless you are lean and tall. Horizontal stripes tend to make you look shorter and heavier. Good choices are clothing with solid and dark colors in order to make you appear slimmer.

Stay away from bright and loud patterns and colors. Navy blue and the basic black are best for casual or work. Add other flattering colors to complete your attire.

Think Bold. If you are thinking bold colors that attract attention and combine these bold colors in your clothing and accessories than you are on the right track. These big styles can lead to a pulled together look that appears to be Hollywood.

Know when to Splurge. There are certain items that a girl must splurge on to achieve the high style look. Splurging on a great handbag is one of the best ways to achieve this style as it can be matched with lower budget items and still have the appeal of a high end design. Even getting these items for a fraction of the price is an effective way to get these items on a budget friendly price.

Find quality basics. Quality basic items are a great way to kick starts your wardrobe into high style. These items are constructed well and give off an heir of high fashion, regardless of what they are combined with. Choose designer jeans mixed with inexpensive t-shirts for the maximum effect.
